OUR VISION

Engineering functional surfaces, from molecules to systems

The M2S (Molecules to Systems) Laboratory at Gyeongsang National University focuses on designing functional surfaces for advanced electronic devices and mechanical components. We achieve this by synthesizing functional materials, precisely controlling tribological properties, and constructing fine patterns through high-resolution electrohydrodynamic jet printing.

Research Areas

What we do

Materials Synthesis & Characterization

Synthesis and characterization of materials for surface modification, including thin films, composites, and printing inks.

Surface Property Evaluation

Evaluating surface properties using tribometry and atomic force microscopy to understand friction, wear, and nanoscale behavior.

Tribology

Developing new surface enhancement techniques such as texturing and modification to improve durability and function.

Electrohydrodynamic Jet Printing

Creating fine functional patterns via electrohydrodynamic (EHD) jet printing for high-resolution electronic devices.
